 ATIVE  RESOLUTION  commemorating  the 150th Anniversary of Massena
  Lodge 513

 S, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize  and  pay
 e  to  those  fraternal  organizations  of high purpose and worthy
 lishment whose endeavors have faithfully served the welfare of the
 ns of the State of New York; and
 EAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its  long-
 ng  traditions,  this  Legislative Body is justly proud to commem-
 the 150th Anniversary of Massena Masons Lodge 513; and
 EAS, To observe this auspicious event, officers of  the  New  York
  Lodge,  the  central body of Masonry in the State, and those from
 oring Ontario, Canada, gathered at Massena  Masons  Lodge  513  on
 ay,  February  26,  2011,  for a day of Masonic traditions, Celtic
  and celebration; and
 EAS, Many festivities were held throughout  the  day  including  a
 cation  Ceremony using the Masonic symbols of corn, wine, and oil,
 ed by the Lodge meeting and culminating with a Banquet; and
 EAS, The current Massena Lodge 513 received its charter  from  the
  Lodge  of  New York State in 1861, just weeks after the Civil War
  and
 EAS, The Charter members consisting of men representing all  walks

  Grand Master; W John Schneider, Master, Massena Lodge; RW William
 ,  Grand  Treasurer;  RW  Thomas  Jenison,  District  Deputy Grand
 , 2nd St. Lawrence District; RW C. Joseph Rutherford, Grand Direc-
  Ceremonies, 2nd St. Lawrence District; VW Charles  Deacon,  Grand
 d,  Ontario, Canada; RW Randall G. Ball, Assistant Grand Lecturer,
 .  Lawrence District; RW Fredertick Rogers,  Grand  Chaplain,  1st
 Lawrence District; RW John Dwyer, Deputy Grand Standard Bearer; RW
 n Ruggles, Jr., Grand Deacon; RW John Krupp, Deputy Grand Marshal;

 Assistant Grand Lecturer, 1st  St.  Lawrence  District;  RW  Terry

 EAS, Organizations of singular distinction as the  Massena  Masons
  513  provide  a  model  for  enhancing the quality of life in the
 ity and, as such, merit the grateful praise of  the  community  of
