AN ACT to amend chapter 359 of the laws of 2010 amending  the  education
 law  relating  to  the use of lever voting machines in relation to the
 effectiveness thereof
 THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

Section 1. 

Section 8 of chapter 359 of the laws of 2010, amending the
 education  law, relating to the use of lever voting machines, is amended
 to read as follows:

 

S 8. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
 deemed repealed December 31, [2012] 2015.
 

S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
 EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
 [ ] is old law to be omitted.
