 ATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Frank A. Tanico III upon the occa-
 of receiving the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout, the most pres-
 s of Scouting honors, on May 15, 2011

 S, Frank  A.  Tanico  III,  through  his  diligence  and  rigorous
 s,  has  achieved  Scouting's  highest  and most prestigious rank,
 Scout; the Eagle Court of Honor ceremony will be held  on  Sunday,
 , 2011 at St. Joseph's Church, Middletown, New York; and
 EAS,  The  son of Mary and Frank Tanico, Frank A. Tanico III was a
  of, now defunct,  Boy Scouts of America Troop 52;  Troop  157  in
 town  has  welcomed  him and will proudly host his Court of Honor;

 EAS, America has achieved her greatest heights  of  glory  through
 edication,  determination  and tireless efforts of the outstanding
 ns of this Nation; and
 EAS, It is only with the continued diligence and devotion  of  our
  tomorrow's leaders, that America will maintain her glory; and
 EAS,  The  Boy  Scouts of America and its members are dedicated to
 velopment of character and leadership in the youth of this Nation;

 EAS, The highest achievement of leadership in Scouting, earned  by
 five percent of all Boy Scouts, is the distinguished rank of Eagle
  and
 EAS, This outstanding young man has been involved in Scouting  for
 years,  has  lived up to Scouting's ideals and has attained all of
 cessary achievements, including completion of a community  service
 t, which was successfully planned, developed and executed; and
 EAS,  For  his  Eagle  project,  Frank  A. Tanico III renovated an
 rs meeting room at St. Joseph's Church in Middletown; he  spackled
 ainted  the walls and built and installed three handmade bookcases
  room; and
 EAS, Frank A. Tanico III, in addition, installed  a  handrail  for
 r  downstairs meeting room, making access to the room much easier;

 EAS, Frank A. Tanico III's  perseverance  in  rising  through  the
  to  Eagle  Scout  is a strong indication of his ability to master
 ult tasks; his accomplishment will enable him to emerge as a lead-
 lly equipped to meet the challenges of  today's  complex  society;

 EAS,  This  new Eagle Scout is a credit to his family, his school,
 mmunity, his State and his Nation, and no doubt his future will be
  with accomplishments of equal importance; now, therefore, be it
 LVED, That this Legislative Body pause in  its  deliberations,  in
 ition  of  the  significance  of  this meritorious achievement, to
 tulate and honor Frank A. Tanico III  on  achieving  the  rank  of
 Scout; and be it further
