 ATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Jonathan Hanscom upon the occasion
 eiving the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout, the most prestigious
 uting honors

 S, Jonathan Hanscom is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 260
 hester, New York; and
 EAS,  Jonathan  Hanscom successfully completed his Boy Scout Eagle
 of Review, and through his diligence  and  rigorous  efforts,  has
 ted  the  requirements  and  achieved  Scouting's highest and most
 gious rank, Eagle Scout; and
 EAS, Jonathan Hanscom will be honored at an Eagle Court  of  Honor
 ny  to  be  held  on  Thursday,  June 16, 2011 at the St. Joseph's
  gymnasium in Penfield; and
 EAS, America has achieved her greatest heights  of  glory  through
 edication,  determination  and tireless efforts of the outstanding
 ns of this Nation; and
 EAS, It is only with the continued diligence and devotion  of  our
  tomorrow's leaders, that America will maintain her glory; and
 EAS,  Boy  Scouts  of America and its members are dedicated to the
 pment of character and leadership in the youth of this Nation; and
 EAS, The highest achievement of leadership in Scouting, earned  by
 five percent of all Boy Scouts, is the distinguished rank of Eagle
  and
 EAS, This outstanding young man has been involved in Scouting  for
 years,  has  lived up to Scouting's ideals and has attained all of
 cessary achievements, including completion of a community  service
 t, which was successfully planned, developed and executed; and
 EAS,  Jonathan  Hanscom's perseverance in rising through the ranks
 le Scout is a strong indication of his ability to master difficult
  his accomplishment will enable him to emerge as a  leader,  fully
 ed to meet the challenges of today's complex society; and
 EAS,  This  new Eagle Scout is a credit to his family, his school,
 mmunity, his State and his Nation, and no doubt his future will be
  with accomplishments of equal importance; now, therefore, be it
 LVED, That this Legislative Body pause in  its  deliberations,  in
 ition  of  the  significance  of  this meritorious achievement, to
 tulate and honor Jonathan Hanscom on achieving the rank  of  Eagle
  and be it further
