 LEGISLATIVE  RESOLUTION  honoring  Len  Kassan  upon the occasion of his
 retirement
 WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and honor
 those distinguished citizens of this great Empire State who have devoted
 themselves to faithfully serving the best interests of  their  community
 and the needs of its residents; and
 WHEREAS,  Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long
 standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor  Len
 Kassan  upon  the occasion of his retirement, to be celebrated on Thurs
 day, November 3, 2011 at Gennaro's in Brooklyn, New York; and
 WHEREAS, Throughout his career, Len Kassan  served  with  intelligence
 and  caring dedication, continuously striving to effectively fulfill the
 duties of his position; and
 WHEREAS, Sincerely loved and greatly respected by all those with  whom
 he  worked, Len Kassan will be remembered for his keen sense of duty and
 ability to show a unique grasp of human problems in his  official  acts;
 and
 WHEREAS,  It  is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ
 uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought  to  our  atten
 tion,  they  should  be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
 the great State of New York; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause  in  its  deliberations  to
 honor  Len  Kassan  upon the occasion of his retirement, and to wish him
 continued success in all of his future endeavors; and be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran
 smitted to Len Kassan.
