 ATIVE  RESOLUTION  congratulating  Cassandra  Crisafulli  upon the
 on of receiving the distinguished Girl Scout Gold Award, the  most
 gious of Scouting honors

 S,  Cassandra  Crisafulli  is  a  member  of Oswego, New York Girl
  of America Troop 10041 affiliated with the Girl Scouts of  NYPENN
 ys council; and
 EAS,  Cassandra  Crisafulli,  through  her  diligence and rigorous
 s, has achieved Scouting's highest and most prestigious honor, the
 cout Gold Award; she will be honored at a Girl  Scouts  of  NYPENN
 ys Young Women of Distinction event in May 2012; and
 EAS,  America  has  achieved her greatest heights of glory through
 dication, determination and tireless efforts  of  the  outstanding
 ns of this nation; and
 EAS,  It  is only with the continued diligence and devotion of our
  tomorrow's leaders, that America will maintain her glory; and
 EAS, Girl Scouts of America and its members are dedicated  to  the
 pment of character and leadership in the youth of this nation; and
 EAS,  Since  1980,  Senior  Girl Scouts in Grades 9-12 have capped
 years of achievement in Girl Scouting with  the  Girl  Scout  Gold
  and
 EAS,  In  order  to  earn  the  Girl Scout Gold Award, a girl must
 l five requirements; chief among them is the design and completion
 old Award Project; this project must build upon the  interests  of
 rl, provide a service to the community, and be of lasting benefit;

 EAS, Cassandra Crisafulli's Gold Award project was entitled Oswego
  and was conducted at Golisano Children's Hospital; and
 EAS,  This  outstanding  young woman has been involved in Scouting
 ars, has lived up to Scouting's ideals and has attained all of the
 ary achievements; and
 EAS, Cassandra Crisafulli is a credit to her family,  her  school,
 mmunity, her State and her nation, and no doubt her future will be
  with accomplishments of equal importance; now, therefore, be it
 LVED,  That  this  Legislative Body pause in its deliberations, in
 ition of the significance  of  this  meritorious  achievement,  to
 tulate  and  honor  Cassandra  Crisafulli upon the occasion of her
 ation as the recipient of a Girl  Scout  Gold  Award;  and  be  it

 LVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
 d to Cassandra Crisafulli.
