 ATIVE  RESOLUTION  congratulating  Mrs.  Miriam V. Henson upon the
 on of her 105th Birthday

 S, Mrs. Miriam V. Henson was born on March 20, 1907; she  will  be
 ars old on March 20, 2012; she gets up every morning at 5:00 a.m.,
 alone and shows no signs of slowing down; and
 EAS,  This  exceptional  centenarian,  with her zest for life, has
 ed and enhanced the lives of her family and friends; and
 EAS, A lady everyone loves and admires, Miriam Henson  moved  into
  City  in  1969 and started to serve in the community immediately;
  one of the founding members of the Community  Protestant  Church,
  is  celebrating  its  43rd Anniversary on April 19, 2012; she has
  as a Board Trustee, President and founding member of the church's
 g Workers Organization; and
 EAS, Miriam Henson is, in addition, a Founder of the Dreiser Reti-
 serving as its President and on its Tour Committee;  a  member  of
 ridge  Club  and  AARP  Chapter and, continues to lobby for senior
  in Albany; and
 EAS, In every capacity in which she has served, Miriam Henson  has
  with love, compassion and understanding; and
 EAS, Mother Henson, as she is affectionately called by many, loves
 vel; she especially likes cruises and has enjoyed about 18 of them
 e; and
 EAS,  Ask  Miriam  Henson what keeps the "pep in her step" and she
 ell you "good living, good friends, trusting in God and  a  little
 twice a day"; and
 EAS,  This distinguished woman, who has experienced the incredible
 nd sorrows characteristic of  and  reserved  for  those  with  the
 a  and courage to savor a full life, has inspired the lives of her
 riends and family; and
 EAS, This beloved lady has enriched the lives of those around  her
 h her joyous and sincere love for others and through the quiescent
 and wisdom which comes only from a fullness of years; and
 EAS,  It is the intent of this Legislative Body to publicly recog-
 hose who have reached such a remarkable age and who have witnessed
 elebrated  the  innovations,  cultural  developments  and  awesome
 ements  of  this country during the last century, while themselves
 buting to the growth and excellence of this  great  Empire  State;
 herefore, be it

 tulate Mrs. Miriam V. Henson upon the occasion of her 105th Birth-
