 ATIVE  RESOLUTION  congratulating Vythand Alagappan upon the occa-
 f receiving the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout, the most  pres-
 s of Scouting honors

 S,  Vythand Alagappan, through his diligence and rigorous efforts,
 hieved Scouting's highest and most prestigious rank, Eagle  Scout;
 gle Court of Honor ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012
  United Church of Pittsford, Pittsford, New York; and
 EAS,  Vythand Alagappan is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop
  Pittsford sponsored by Rayson-Miller American Legion Post 899  in
 ord; and
 EAS,  America  has  achieved her greatest heights of glory through
 dication, determination and tireless efforts  of  the  outstanding
 ns of this Nation; and
 EAS,  It  is only with the continued diligence and devotion of our
  tomorrow's leaders, that America will maintain her glory; and
 EAS, The Boy Scouts of America and its members  are  dedicated  to
 velopment of character and leadership in the youth of this Nation;

 EAS,  The highest achievement of leadership in Scouting, earned by
 ive percent of all Boy Scouts, is the distinguished rank of  Eagle
  and
 EAS,  This outstanding young man has been involved in Scouting for
 ears, has lived up to Scouting's ideals and has  attained  all  of
 ecessary achievements, including completion of a community service
 t, which was successfully planned, developed and executed; and
 EAS, For his Eagle project, Vythand Alagappan installed  recycling
 and solar lighting at the Seneca Park Zoo and supervised the group
 ut 20 people who helped him with the project; and
 EAS, Vythand Alagappan's perseverance in rising through the  ranks
 le Scout is a strong indication of his ability to master difficult
   his  accomplishment will enable him to emerge as a leader, fully
 ed to meet the challenges of today's complex society; and
 EAS, This new Eagle Scout is a credit to his family,  his  school,
 mmunity, his State and his Nation, and no doubt his future will be
  with accomplishments of equal importance; now, therefore, be it
 LVED,  That  this  Legislative Body pause in its deliberations, in
 ition of the significance  of  this  meritorious  achievement,  to
 tulate  and honor Vythand Alagappan on achieving the rank of Eagle
  and be it further
