 ATIVE  RESOLUTION  commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the Sands
 Garden Club

 S, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to honor those illus-
  individuals and institutions of  the  State  of  New  York  whose
 eful  endeavors  serve  to  enhance  the  quality of life in their

 EAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body  to  recognize  that
 uality  and  character  of life in the communities across New York
 are reflective of the concerned and  dedicated  efforts  of  those

 EAS,  Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
 ng traditions, this Legislative Body is justly  proud  to  commem-

 EAS,  The purposes of the Sands Point Garden Club are to: create a
 or and interest in  gardening;  encourage  learning  the  lore  of
 ing, horticulture, design, and flower arranging; aid in conserving
 atural  flora;  cooperate  in  beautifying  public grounds; and to
 e and support activities sponsored by the Federated  Garden  Clubs

 EAS,  Throughout its distinguished history, the Sands Point Garden
 as diligently served the residents of Sands Point, New  York,  and
 urrounding  communities; it has made a difference in every life it
 s and has had a positive impact throughout the entire region; and
 EAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when  organiza-
