ATIVE RESOLUTION commemorating the 200th Anniversary of the Town onville S, Each and every city, town, village and hamlet within its s proudly resonates with the rich and noble history of the State York; and EAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and orate the anniversary of the founding of municipalities throughout ate, noting in turn their contributions to the fabric and develop- f this great Empire State; and EAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commemorate the ennial of the Town of Masonville, New York, recognizing the icance of this special anniversary and applauding its distin- d history; and EAS, Formed in 1811, the Town of Masonville, located in Delaware , is a vital community rich in historical tradition and the spirit de of its citizens; and EAS, The Town of Masonville will proudly mark its 200th Anniver- n Saturday, July 16, 2011 with a Parade from Town Hall to the ted Church of Masonville, where there will be a ceremony recogniz- e auspicious milestone of the Town's 200th Anniversary; and EAS, There will also be a historical display in the church's ship Hall featuring items chronicling the history of Masonville with a slide show and photo albums and photographs donated or by Masonville residents for the occasion, and, later, in the oon, there will be an old-fashioned community picnic and enter- nt on the Masonville Elementary School's back lawn; and EAS, Remaining fruitful over the ebb and flow of decades of growth ange, the Town of Masonville retains its commitment to enhancing ality of life of its citizens; and EAS, As the Town of Masonville celebrates its 200th Anniversary, ors its illustrious past, its proud heritage and its promising ; and EAS, In recognition of the Town of Masonville's rich history and ng contribution to the State of New York, this Legislative Body is to pay tribute to this spirited Town upon the occasion of its ennial; now, therefore, be it LVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to orate the Bicentennial of the Town of Masonville and to enthusi- lly salute its residents as they celebrate this auspicious occa- and be it further LVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran- d to the Town of Masonville.
