AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to
allowing the use of rifles for hunting in Wyoming county; and provid-
ing for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1 Section 1. Item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907
2 of the environmental conservation law, as amended by section 11 of chap-
3 ter 483 of the laws of 2010, is amended to read as follows:
4 (i) The counties of Deer, the first Monday Pistol, shotgun,
5 Allegany, after November 15 crossbow,
6 Cattaraugus, Chemung, through first Tuesday muzzle loading
7 Chenango, Herkimer, after December 7 firearm, rifle or
8 Madison, long bow only
9 Montgomery, Oneida,
10 Oswego, Otsego,
11 Schoharie, Schuyler,
12 Steuben, Tioga,
13 WYOMING and Yates
14 and that portion of
15 the county of
16 Broome east of the
17 Susquehanna river
18 S 2. Item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
19 the environmental conservation law, as amended by section 12 of chapter
20 483 of the laws of 2010, is amended to read as follows:

4 Chenango, Herkimer, first Tuesday after firearm, rifle or
5 Montgomery, Oneida, December 7 long bow only

9 and that portion of
10 the county of
11 Broome east of the
12 Susquehanna river
13 S 3. This act shall take effect immediately, provided that:
14 a. the amendments to item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
15 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
16 one of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
17 paragraph pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as
18 amended, when upon such date the provisions of section two of this act
19 shall take effect;
20 b. the amendments to item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
21 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
22 two of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
23 paragraph pursuant to section 17 of chapter 483 of the laws of 2010, as
24 amended; and
25 c. nothing contained in this act shall be construed so as to extend
26 the provisions of this act beyond January 1, 2014, when upon such date
27 this act shall expire and the provisions contained in this act shall be
28 deemed repealed.
