S 208-B. AVAILABILITY OF A LOCAL DIPLOMA. THE DEPARTMENT SHALL MAKE
THE LOCAL DIPLOMA AVAILABLE TO ALL STUDENTS WHO ENTER THE NINTH GRADE
PRIOR TO THE TWO THOUSAND THIRTEEN--TWO THOUSAND FOURTEEN SCHOOL YEAR.
S 2. The department of education shall conduct a series of public

of students with disabilities unable to achieve the local diploma but
for which the former Individual Education Plan diploma is no longer
available. Such evaluation and report shall be submitted to the gover-
nor, the temporary president of the senate and the speaker of the assem-
