SKARTADOS -- read once and referred to the Committee on Ways and Means AN ACT to amend chapter 430 of the laws of 2012 relating to a certain agreement for a payment in lieu of taxes, in relation to the effec- tiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 430 of the laws of 2012 relating to a certain agreement for a payment in lieu of taxes, is amended to read as follows: S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall ONLY apply to taxable years beginning on and after January 1, 2008 AND ENDING ON OR BEFORE DECEMBER 31, 2012. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. A LBD06970-01-3
