AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to the New  York
  city paratransit transportation program

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. The public authorities law  is  amended  by  adding  a  new
section 1269-h to read as follows:
  S  1269-H.  PHOTOGRAPHS  AT  PARATRANSIT  OFFICES. THE AUTHORITY SHALL
PROMULGATE RULES AND REGULATIONS REQUIRING EACH OFFICE OPERATING A PARA-
TRANSIT TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM TO INSTALL AND OPERATE PHOTO  CAMERAS  IN
EACH  PARATRANSIT  OFFICE  FOR  THE  PURPOSE OF PHOTOGRAPHING APPLICANTS
ATTENDING THE REQUIRED EVALUATION. SUCH RULES AND REGULATIONS SHALL  SET
FORTH  THAT  THE  TAKING OF SUCH PHOTOGRAPHS AT SUCH PARATRANSIT OFFICES
SHALL BE FREE TO APPLICANTS.
  S 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred twentieth day after
it shall have become a law. Effective immediately, the addition,  amend-
ment and/or repeal of any rule or regulation necessary for the implemen-
tation  of this act on its effective date is authorized to be made on or
before such date.
