AN  ACT  to  amend the social services law, in relation to requiring the
  provision of kitchen facilities in certain locations that  temporarily
  house  homeless  individuals  or  accept  certain government subsidies
  outside of the city of New York

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. Section 20 of the social services law is amended by adding
a new subdivision 9 to read as follows:
  9. THE OFFICE OF TEMPORARY AND DISABILITY ASSISTANCE SHALL, WITHIN ONE
HUNDRED EIGHTY DAYS OF THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS  SUBDIVISION,  PROMUL-
GATE  AND IMPLEMENT ANY AND ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS AS SHALL BE NECES-
SARY TO REQUIRE KITCHEN FACILITIES IN LOCATIONS THAT  TEMPORARILY  HOUSE
HOMELESS  INDIVIDUALS OR ACCEPT GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES TO HOUSE SUCH INDI-
VIDUALS, LOCATED OUTSIDE OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK, PROVIDED TO ANY PERSON
PURSUANT TO THIS CHAPTER.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
