SCHIMEL -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Local Governments AN ACT to amend the Nassau county civil divisions act, in relation to the Port Washington police district THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Article 2 of title 3 of chapter II of section 1 of chapter 273 of the laws of 1939 constituting the Nassau county civil divisions act is amended by adding two new sections 320.0 and 321.0 to read as follows: S 320.0 APPLICATION OF SECTION 119-O OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL LAW. THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 119-O OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL LAW SHALL BE DEEMED APPLICABLE TO MUNICIPAL COOPERATIVE ACTIVITIES. S 321.0 APPLICATION OF SECTION 67 OF THE TOWN LAW. THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 67 OF THE TOWN LAW SHALL GOVERN THE PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS ACTIONS AGAINST THE DISTRICT. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD07123-01-5
