LOSQUADRO -- read once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend chapter 112 of the laws of 2007 authorizing the commis- sioner of environmental conservation to discontinue the use of certain land as reserved lands within the Long Island Pine Barrens maritime reserve, in relation to the description of lands to be conveyed by the Longwood central school district to the state of New York THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 4 of chapter 112 of the laws of 2007, relating to authorizing the commissioner of environmental conservation to discontin- ue the use of certain land as reserved lands within the Long Island Pine Barrens maritime reserve, is amended to read as follows: S 4. The lands authorized by this act to be conveyed to the people of the state of New York by the Longwood central school district are as follows: [ALL that certain piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being at Ridge, Town of Brookhaven, County of Suffolk, State of New York, being more particularly bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the southerly side of land now or formerly of the Longwood Central School District the following two course and distances from the intersection of the northerly side of Middle Country Road (Route 25) with the easterly side of Ridge Road: 1. Northerly along the easterly side of Ridge Road a distance of 4,403.81 feet; EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. 2. Along the southerly line of land now or formerly of the Longwood Central School District South 89 degrees 35 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 1467.53 feet to the point of beginning; THENCE from said point of beginning the following eight (8) courses and distances through the land now or formerly of the Longwood Central School District; 1. North 18 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West a distance of 465.20 feet to a point; 2. South 72 degrees 59 minutes 43 seconds West a distance of 78.52 feet to a point; 3. South 85 degrees 03 minutes 52 seconds West a distance of 221.90 feet to a point; 4. South 83 degrees 30 minutes 06 seconds West a distance of 100.60 feet to a point; 5. North 85 degrees 14 minutes 41 seconds West a distance of 347.49 feet to a point; 6. North 89 degrees 47 minutes 40 seconds West a distance of 83.65 feet to a point; 7. North 00 degrees 51 minutes 18 seconds West a distance of 171.48 feet to a point; 8. Along the arc of a curve bearing to the left having a radius of 3,619.72 feet, an arc length of 70.08 feet (Chord North 88 degrees 07 minutes 17 seconds West) to a point on the easterly side of land now or formerly of Pomebry; thence along the easterly side of land now or formerly of Pomebry and land now or formerly of Ruscica North 00 degrees 51 minutes 18 seconds West a distance of 100.07 feet to a point on the southerly side of land now or formerly of Suffolk County; thence along the southerly side of land now or formerly of Suffolk County along the arc of a curve bearing to the right having a radius of 3,719.72 feet, an arc length of 1,176.60 feet (Chord South 79 degrees 40 minutes 23 seconds East) to a point on the westerly side of the Map of Randall Woods, Section 2 filed in the Suffolk County Clerks Office on May 24, 1977 as File number 6551; thence along the westerly side of said Map of Randall Woods South 18 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 508.70 feet to a point on the northerly side of land now or formerly of New York State; thence along the northerly side of land now or formerly of New York State North 89 degrees 35 minutes 00 seconds West a distance of 266.00 feet to the point or place of beginning.
