AN ACT to amend the general  business  law,  in  relation  to  requiring
  commercial entities that own wireless communication towers and munici-
  palities that own water towers to post a sign on such towers publiciz-
  ing the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline hotline phone number

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Short title. This act shall be known and may  be  cited  as
the "Tista For Life Law".
  S  2. The general business law is amended by adding a new section 399-
ccc to read as follows:
  S 399-CCC. POSTING OF THE NATIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION LIFELINE HOTLINE
PHONE NUMBER BY COMMERCIAL ENTITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES THAT OWN WIRELESS
TELECOMMUNICATION TOWERS, WATER TOWERS AND POLES. ANY COMMERCIAL  ENTITY
THAT  OWNS  A  WIRELESS  TELECOMMUNICATION TOWER OR POLE OR MUNICIPALITY
THAT OWNS A WATER TOWER SHALL CONSPICUOUSLY POST A SIGN ON EACH TOWER OR
POLE THAT SHALL STATE "IF YOU ARE IN CRISIS-CALL US NOW!  1-800-273-8255
NATIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION LIFELINE WWW.SUICIDEPREVENTIONLIFELINE.ORG".
  S  3.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
have become a law.
