AN ACT to amend chapter 779 of the laws of  1986,  amending  the  social
  services  law  relating  to  authorizing services for non-residents in
  adult homes, residences for adults and enriched housing  programs,  in
  relation to extending the provisions thereof for three years

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 4 of chapter 779 of the laws of 1986, amending  the
social  services  law relating to authorizing services for non-residents
in adult homes, residences for adults and enriched housing programs,  as
amended  by  chapter  83  of  the  laws  of  2008, is amended to read as
follows:
  S 4. This act shall take effect on the one hundred twentieth day after
it shall have become a law and shall remain in  full  force  and  effect
until July 1, [2011] 2014, provided however, that effective immediately,
the addition, amendment and/or repeal of any rules or regulations neces-
sary for the implementation of the foregoing sections of this act on its
effective  date  are authorized and directed to be made and completed on
or before such effective date.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
