Introduced by M. of A. M. MILLER -- read once and referred to the Committee on Codes AN ACT to amend the criminal procedure law, in relation to designating police officers of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs as peace officers THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 21 of section 2.15 of the criminal procedure law, as added by chapter 549 of the laws of 1997, is amended to read as follows: 21. United States Department of Veterans [Administration] AFFAIRS police officers [employed at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Batavia]. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
