S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 8659 I N A S S E M B L Y January 31, 2014 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. GLICK -- read once and referred to the Committee on Higher Education AN ACT to amend chapter 534 of the laws of 1993 amending the education law relating to physical therapy assistants, in relation to extending the effective date thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 534 of the laws of 1993 amending the education law relating to physical therapy assistants, as amended by chapter 258 of the laws of 2010, is amended to read as follows: S 2. This act shall take effect on the sixtieth day after it shall have become a law and shall remain in effect until June 30, [2014] 2018 on which date it shall be repealed. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13785-01-4
