AN  ACT  changing the name of Delhi Central School District to the Dela-
  ware Academy Central School District at Delhi

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Notwithstanding any other provision of law, rule or regu-
lation to the contrary, the commissioner of education is hereby  author-
ized,  empowered  and  directed to change the official name of the Delhi
Central School District to the Delaware Academy Central School  District
at  Delhi. The education department shall issue a certificate certifying
the name of the district and the name of the towns and counties in which
the territory of the district is located.
  S 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day  after  it  shall
have become a law.
