AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to
authorizing the hunting of big game in the county of Albany with
pistols, rifles, shotguns, crossbows and long bows; and providing for
the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Items (d) and (e) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law, as amended by
section 11 of chapter 483 of the laws of 2010, are amended to read as
follows:
(d) Eastern region, Deer, first Monday Pistol, shotgun,
except ALBANY, after November 15 crossbow,
Columbia, Fulton, through first Tuesday muzzle loading firearm
Orange, Rensselaer, after December 7 or long bow only
Saratoga, Washington

S 3. This act shall take effect immediately, provided that:
a. the amendments to items (d) and (e) of paragraph a of subdivision 2
of section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
one of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
paragraph pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as
amended, when upon such date the provisions of section two of this act
shall take effect;
b. the amendments to items (d) and (e) of paragraph a of subdivision 2
of section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
two of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
paragraph pursuant to section 17 of chapter 483 of the laws of 2010, as
amended;
c. nothing contained in this act shall be construed so as to extend
the provisions of this act beyond January 1, 2014, when upon such date
this act shall expire and the provisions contained herein shall be
deemed repealed.
