LEGISLATIVE  RESOLUTION commending Reverend Emmanuel Asse upon the occa-
sion of his designation for special recognition

WHEREAS, The character and richness of religious and community  life  in
this  noble Empire State is nourished and fulfilled through the faithful
concern and selfless devotion of those who would commit  their  energies
and purpose to the ministry of others; and
  WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to bring full recog-
nition  and just tribute to those individuals who distinguish themselves
and the ministry through their unremitting commitment and preeminence of
service; and
  WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly  proud  to  commend  Reverend
Emmanuel  Asse upon the occasion of his designation for special recogni-
tion, to be celebrated on Saturday, November 17, 2012; and
  WHEREAS, Emmanuel Asse was born in Haiti and raised in the Bronx,  New
York;  he  serves in ministry part-time by traveling the world preaching
and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ; since his youth, he  began  his
Christian  work  under auspices Pastor Emmanuel Dennis Sr. Pastor Church
of God of New York City; and
  WHEREAS, In the year 2008, Emmanuel Asse was ordained as a  pastor  at
Solution  International Outreach Ministry in Texas; he diligently served
as a personal assistant pastor to Bishop Sem Celestin  First  Revelation
Church  Queens  Village, New York; he also served as an assistant pastor
at the Macedonia Church of God in St. Albans, New York; and
  WHEREAS, Since 2000, Pastor  Emmanuel  Asse  began  studying  biblical
courses  to enhance his desire to win souls, counsel, and evangelize; he
has attained a certificate in Evangelism  and  a  Bachelor  of  Theology
degree from Mt. Olive Bible College; and
  WHEREAS,  Pastor  Emmanuel  Asse is a licensed marriage officer by the
State of New York and has worked as a professional Case Manager HIV/AIDS
Counselor for Harlem Churches  Congregation  for  Community  Improvement
since  2005;  he  also collaborates with the New York City Department of
Social Service; and
  WHEREAS, Pastor Emmanuel Asse is also the founder and senior pastor of
the Ambassador International Outreach Ministry, in Queens, New York; for
four years, he served as a Police Cadet for the NYPD  and  the  DEA  (US
DOJ); and
  WHEREAS,  Pastor  Emmanuel Asse has received many distinguished awards
from the New York State Department of Law Office of the Attorney  Gener-
al, the United States Secret Service, the New York City Council, the New
York  City Public School Chancellor and the New York City Police Commis-
sioner; and
  WHEREAS, Reverend Emmanuel Asse has brought to his ministry  an  over-
whelming  spirit  of  charity  and  compassion,  acting  from vision and
enlightenment in conducting his  administrative  and  spiritual  duties,
while  always  displaying  the highest standards of personal and profes-
sional integrity and dedication; and
  WHEREAS, This distinguished man of God has always given enlightenment,
guidance and wisdom to the many entrusted to his care and  has  adminis-
tered abundantly and unstintingly to the spiritual and corporal needs of
all; and
  WHEREAS,  It  is the sense of this Legislative Body that when a person
of such noble aims and accomplishments is brought to our attention it is
appropriate to publicly and jubilantly proclaim and commend  that  indi-
vidual for the edification of others; now, therefore, be it
  RESOLVED,  That  this  Legislative  Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Reverend Emmanuel Asse upon the occasion of his designation  for

special  recognition, noting his unremitting and compassionate faith and
his exemplary service to God, man, and his community, and  extending  to
him  the  heartfelt best wishes of this Legislative Body for a future of
purposeful success and well-being; and be it further
  RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Reverend Emmanuel Asse.
