LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring the Board of Directors of Fulmont Commu-
nity Action Agency, Inc. for special recognition on May 6, 2013

WHEREAS,  The  State  of New York takes great pride in acknowledging the
extraordinary public service of its esteemed residents; and
  WHEREAS, Fulmont Community Action  Agency,  Inc.  will  recognize  its
dedicated  Board of Directors at a meeting to be held at the Holiday Inn
in Johnstown on May 6, 2013; and
  WHEREAS, Fulmont is pleased to recognize its  Board  as  extraordinary
advocates for low-income families and individuals; and
  WHEREAS,  The  Board  is  currently led by Chair Melissa Schaufelberg,
Vice Chair Monique Simons, Secretary Mark  Ford,  and  Treasurer  Ronald
Dievendorf; and
  WHEREAS,  Members  are  Peter  Ackerbauer,  Paul Brady, Terry Bieniek,
Thomas Brownell, Hugh Carville, Jerri Cortese,  Ginger  Driscoll,  Grace
Eglin,  Linda  Frederick,  Vito  Greco, Michael Kayes, Eliot King, Gerry
Maring, Ernesto Morales, John Morton  II,  Richard  Ottalagano,  Richard
Prestopnik,  Michael  Ridgway,  Adam  Schwabrow,  Jeremy Spraggs, Robert
VanAvery, Jack Wilson, and Shannon Zabielski; and
  WHEREAS, These dedicated members strive to support the Board's mission
which is to improve and expand human services and programs in  order  to
promote self sufficiency, and improve the quality of life of the social-
ly  and  economically  disadvantaged,  as well as to provide services to
promote economic efficiency and  stability  in  Fulton,  Montgomery  and
surrounding counties; and
  WHEREAS,  Board  members donate generously of their time and expertise
and serve  on  Board  committees,  lobby  for  funding  stability,  make
personal donations to the agency, conduct fund raising activities, serve
on  Neighborhood Advisory Councils, serve on the Head Start Policy Coun-
cil, volunteer in Fulmont's Outreach Centers, and assist with the orien-
tation of new parents at Head Start; and
  WHEREAS, The State of New York is pleased to  join  Fulmont  Community
Action  Agency,  Inc.  in  recognizing  its  Board  of Directors for its
extraordinary dedication to Fulmont and  to  the  low-income  community;
now, therefore, be it
  RESOLVED,  That  this  Legislative  Body pause in its deliberations to
honor the Board of Directors of Fulmont Community  Action  Agency,  Inc.
for its valuable contributions and dedicated service; and be it further
  RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to members of the Board of Directors of Fulmont Community Action
Agency, Inc.
