LEGISLATIVE  RESOLUTION  honoring  MBMS,  Inc.  upon the occasion of its
designation as recipient of the 2013 First Niagara Bank Sponsor's  Award
by the Amherst Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS,  It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New  York  State
are  enhanced  by the concerned and dedicated efforts of business organ-
izations and individuals that generously contribute to  the  welfare  of
the community and its citizenry; and
  WHEREAS,  Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body  is  justly  proud  to  honor
MBMS, Inc. upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the 2013
First  Niagara  Bank Sponsor's Award by the Amherst Chamber of Commerce;
this auspicious occasion will be  celebrated  at  the  Chamber's  annual
Small  Business  Awards Luncheon, to be held on Friday, May 17, 2013, at
Samuel's Grande Manor in Buffalo, New York; and
  WHEREAS, Founded in December 1985 by James E. Kunert, MBMS, Inc. is  a
United  States  owned  and  based  software development and professional
services firm; it provides all its professional services  on-shore  from
its main office location in Amherst, New York; and
  WHEREAS,  The  early  focus  of  MBMS,  Inc. was on mortgage servicing
system consulting and software development for  mortgage  servicing  and
risk management systems; in February 1987, Gary Andalora joined the firm
to grow its software development business; and
  WHEREAS,  By 1988, MBMS, Inc. ceased its servicing consulting business
and focused strictly on software development adding a  Mortgage  Custody
Management System to the lineup of software solution offerings; and
  WHEREAS,  Currently,  MBMS, Inc.'s software solutions are used by nine
of the 10 largest United States banks as measured by assets; and
  WHEREAS, With over 20 years  of  experience  in  supporting  financial
institutions  with  solutions,  MBMS,  Inc.  has developed knowledge and
methods that have consistently produced business value for its  clients;
and
  WHEREAS,  MBMS,  Inc. is organized to serve its customers in ways that
they require: with responsiveness and accountability, with deep business
domain and technical knowledge, and with dependable solutions that stand
up to heavy use; and
  WHEREAS, The employees of MBMS, Inc. are diverse  and  multi-talented;
they  possess  a  variety  of  advanced  degrees and professional desig-
nations; the company forms employment relationships  with  highly  moti-
vated  and accomplished graduates of local colleges and universities and
who have chosen to make Western New York their home; and
  WHEREAS, MBMS, Inc. has been awarded the "Best Companies to  Work  for
in New York State" designation for the last four consecutive years; and
  WHEREAS,  This  auspicious  occasion presents a unique opportunity for
this Legislative Body to recognize and pay tribute to MBMS, Inc.; and
  WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when an  organ-
ization  of such noble aims and accomplishments is brought to our atten-
tion, it should be recognized and applauded by all the citizens of  this
great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
  RESOLVED,  That  this  Legislative  Body pause in its deliberations to
honor MIBMS, Inc. upon the occasion of its designation as  recipient  of
the  2013  First  Niagara Bank Sponsor's Award by the Amherst Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further
  RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to MBMS, Inc.
