LEGISLATIVE  RESOLUTION  honoring  Caroline Staudle upon the occasion of
her recognition by the Orange County  Interscholastic  Athletic  Associ-
ation as a 2013 OCIAA Scholar Athlete

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord with
its  long-standing  traditions,  to  honor the achievements of its young
citizens and leaders of tomorrow, whose  character  and  accomplishments
exemplify  the  ideals  and  values  cherished  by  this great State and
nation; and
  WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Caroline Stau-
dle upon the occasion of her recognition by the Orange County Interscho-
lastic Athletic Association as a 2013 OCIAA Scholar Athlete; and
  WHEREAS, Academically and athletically, Caroline Staudle  has  distin-
guished  herself  as  a  young woman of superlative ability, talent, and
maturity, establishing standards of excellence and achievement, purpose-
fulness of life, and responsibility rarely achieved in  youthful  years;
and
  WHEREAS,  Caroline Staudle, a student at Cornwall High School in Corn-
wall, New York, ranked 20th in her class and played  soccer,  basketball
and softball; and
  WHEREAS,  She  is  a  member of the National Honor Society and Varsity
Club, and a volunteer at her parish as well as a Safe School Ambassador;
she plans to attend Southern Connecticut State; and
  WHEREAS, An outstanding role model for her classmates, Caroline  Stau-
dle has brought honor to her family, school, and community; and
  WHEREAS,  Caroline  Staudle  may stand with pride in her achievements,
experiencing the satisfaction of her labors and the joy  of  her  accom-
plishments,  eager  to  face  the  challenge  of  new experiences as she
continues her education; and
  WHEREAS, Caroline Staudle represents the  potential  inherent  in  our
most  precious  resource, our youth; this Legislative Body is pleased to
honor this young woman, recognizing her achievements and the promise  of
her future; now, therefore, be it
  RESOLVED,  That  this  Legislative  Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Caroline Staudle upon the  occasion  of  her  recognition  by  the
Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association as a 2013 OCIAA Scho-
lar  Athlete,  and  to  wish her well in her future endeavors; and be it
further
  RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Caroline Staudle.
