LEGISLATIVE  RESOLUTION  commending Emily E. Frollo upon the occasion of
her designation as Honor  Speaker  of  Fonda-Fultonville  High  School's
Class of 2013, on June 22, 2013

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord with
its  long-standing  traditions, honoring the youth of today, and leaders
of tomorrow, whose character and achievements best exemplify the  ideals
and values cherished by this great State and Nation; and
  WHEREAS,  A  young  woman of singular distinction, Emily E. Frollo has
distinguished herself as a student of superlative ability,  establishing
a high standard of academic excellence and purposefulness of life rarely
achieved in youthful years; and
  WHEREAS,  Emily E. Frollo, through her diligence and rigorous efforts,
has been designated Honor Speaker  of  Fonda-Fultonville  High  School's
Class of 2013; the graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday, June
22, 2013; and
  WHEREAS, Emily Frollo, in achieving this high academic honor, may take
just  pride  in the inspiration and contribution to the spirit of excel-
lence she brings to her family, friends, community and school; and
  WHEREAS, The daughter of Michael and Mary Frollo of Fonda,  New  York,
Emily Frollo is ranked first in the Class of 2013; she will be attending
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the Fall; and
  WHEREAS,  She  is the Treasurer of the National Honor Society, as well
as a member of the Key Club and Ski Club; a well-rounded student, she is
a member of the Wind Ensemble and the All-County Band, and  she  partic-
ipated  in Soccer, Basketball and Softball during her high school years,
serving as captain of her soccer and softball teams; and
  WHEREAS, Emily Frollo is a recipient of the United  States  Air  Force
Math  and Science Award, the RPI Medalist Award, Top Student Athlete for
Section II Girls Basketball, the University of Rochester Bausch and Lomb
Award, and is a National Merit Finalist; and
  WHEREAS, As Emily Frollo takes her  leave  of  Fonda-Fultonville  High
School,  she bequeaths a legacy of academic achievement, school involve-
ment and community service to which others may aspire; and
  WHEREAS, Emily Frollo stands poised on the threshold of  a  broad  and
challenging  world;  a  testament  to the love and nurturing care of her
family, friends and school; and
  WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is moved to honor Emily  E.  Frollo,  a
dedicated  and able scholar, recognizing the value of her labors and the
promise of her future; now, therefore, be it
  RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause  in  its  deliberations  to
commend  Emily  E. Frollo, upon the occasion of her designation as Honor
Speaker of Fonda-Fultonville High School's Class of 2013,  to  congratu-
late  her  on her outstanding academic achievement, and to extend to her
the best wishes of this Legislative Body  for  a  future  of  purposeful
success and well-being, appreciative of the model she represents for all
aspiring young people of the Empire State; and be it further
  RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Emily E. Frollo.
