LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring CCN International Inc. upon the occasion
of its designation as recipient of the 2013 Business of the Year Award
by the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor those illus-
trious individuals and institutions of the State of New York whose
purposeful endeavors serve to enhance the quality of life in their
communities; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, it is the sense of this Legislative Body to commend
CCN International Inc. on the occasion of its designation as the recipi-
ent of the 2013 Business of the Year Award by the Geneva Chamber of
Commerce; and
WHEREAS, CCN International Inc. will be honored at the Geneva Area
Chamber of Commerce's 110th Annual Dinner to be held on Thursday, Janu-
ary 24, 2013, at Club 86 in Geneva, New York; and
WHEREAS, CCN International, Inc. is a manufacturer of high quality
office furniture that has had its headquarters in the City of Geneva
since 1986; and
WHEREAS, Originally formed in 1985, CCN International, Inc. had one
goal: to meet market need for original-design, exceptionally functional
wood office furniture that embodied lasting architectural distinctive-
ness, yet was price accessible to every user; and
WHEREAS, Today, CCN International's talented staff of 110 employees
provides the highest quality furniture design and construction; they are
known throughout the world for the finesse and strength of their varied
product design; and
WHEREAS, CCN International, Inc. collaborates with specifiers to modi-
fy its furniture in ways that add personalization and value for custom-
ers, without adding unnecessary cost; and
WHEREAS, Three things distinguish a CCN International, Inc. product
from all others of its type are superior craftsmanship, modifications
that can be readily accommodated, and attention to detail; only once
those criteria are met will the piece carry the CCN insignia engraved on
it, signifying that it was made in Geneva, New York; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Richard Conoyer, CEO of CCN International, Inc. has been
a longtime supporter of the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce, serving on
the Business Council and as an active member of the Board of Directors;
and
WHEREAS, A valuable institution within its community, CCN Interna-
tional Inc. has provided gratis their various products to organizations
throughout the Geneva area in order to grow funds for programming,
including the Finger Lakes Leadership; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, it is appropriate to publicly proclaim and commend those individ-
uals for the edification and emulation of others; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor CCN International Inc. upon the occasion of its designation as the
recipient of the 2013 Business of the Year Award by the Geneva Area
Chamber of Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Mr. Richard Conoyer, CEO, CCN International Inc.
