LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Ashley-Marie Paul and Jasmin Lopez
upon the occasion of placing 1st in Fantasy Hairstyling for the Teach-
er's Guild Contest, Junior Competition

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord with
its long-standing traditions, honoring the youth of today, and leaders
of tomorrow, whose character and achievements best exemplify the ideals
and values cherished by this great State and Nation; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Ashley-Marie Paul and Jasmin Lopez upon the occasion of placing 1st in
Fantasy Hairstyling for the Teacher's Guild Contest, Junior Competition;
and
WHEREAS, Every spring, Cosmetology students from across New York State
compete in this illustrious event, showing off their remarkable skills
and talents; and
WHEREAS, Ashley-Marie Paul of New Hyde Park Memorial High School and
Jasmin Lopez from Sewanhaka High School received 1st place for their
theme Beauty and the Beast; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is moved to honor Ashley-Marie Paul and
Jasmin Lopez, recognizing the value of their labors and the promise of
their future; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Ashley-Marie Paul and Jasmin Lopez upon the occasion of placing
1st in Fantasy Hairstyling for the Teacher's Guild Contest, Junior
Competition; and
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Ashley-Marie Paul and Jasmin Lopez.
