LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Dominic Rinaldi upon the occasion of his
designation as the recipient of the 2012 Senior Citizen of the Year
Award by Warren-Hamilton Counties Office for the Aging

WHEREAS, Senior citizens bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to
the increasingly active roles they play in today's society; their past
contributions and future participation are a vital part of, and valuable
asset to, the fabric of community life and activity; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Dominic Rinaldi upon the occasion of his designation as the recipient of
the 2012 Senior Citizen of the Year Award by Warren-Hamilton Counties
Office for the Aging at its annual senior luncheon to be held on Thurs-
day, May 17, 2012, at Ft. William Henry, Lake George, New York; and
WHEREAS, Dominic Rinaldi is truly deserving of the honor of Warren
County Senior of the Year; he shares not only his time, but a genuine
love and caring for his community, both young and old; and
WHEREAS, Dominic Rinaldi volunteers his time and energy and he always
does it with humor and grace; he is a very active member of the Queens-
bury Senior Citizens and, in addition to representing the club on the
Warren County Council of Senior Citizens, he serves on a number of
committees; and
WHEREAS, Many of Dominic Rinaldi's contributions, include faithfully
delivering groceries to the GF Food Pantry for 20 years, operating a
50/50 raffle to raise scholarship funds, collecting and delivering items
to be sent to our soldiers serving overseas, and transporting others to
club activities, medical appointments and grocery stores; and
WHEREAS, A true asset to society, Dominic Rinaldi, a very active and
industrious man, has inspired and enriched the lives of many through his
love and respect for others, generously sharing the wisdom gained over
years of experiencing life to its fullest; and
WHEREAS, It is the intent of this Legislative Body to publicly recog-
nize and commend those who have witnessed and contributed to the devel-
opments and achievements of our Nation, State, and communities over the
course of their noteworthy lives; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Dominic Rinaldi upon the occasion of his designation as the recip-
ient of the 2012 Senior Citizen of the Year Award by Warren-Hamilton
Counties Office for the Aging; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Dominic Rinaldi.
