LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Leonard G. Bauer as he completes his
distinguished service as a member of the Town of Fremont, New York Plan-
ning Board

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend individuals who have faithfully served the citizens of their
community and the State of New York with exemplary dedication and
conscientious service, significantly improving the quality of life in
the community; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Leonard G. Bauer as he completes his 44 years of outstanding, dedicated
service as a member of the Town of Fremont, New York Planning Board; and
WHEREAS, Currently serving as Chairman of the Planning Board, Leonard
G. Bauer has rendered faithful, conscientious and valuable service to
the Town and people of Fremont for the past 44 years as a valued member
of the Planning Board; and
WHEREAS, Deeply committed to the quality of life of the citizens of
Fremont and Sullivan County, from 1968 through 2012, Leonard G. Bauer
has served the Town of Fremont with great diligence and unswerving
commitment, earning the admiration, esteem, and affection of his
colleagues and community; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife Marsha and their chil-
dren and grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, As he completes his service as a member of the Fremont Plan-
ning Board, Leonard G. Bauer leaves an indelible imprint on the Town,
its services and quality of life, and richly merits the gratitude and
appreciation of the citizens of Fremont and the recognition and commen-
dation of this Legislative Body; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Leonard G. Bauer as he completes his service as a Member of the
Fremont Planning Board after 44 years of distinguished service to the
Town and his community; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Leonard G. Bauer.
