LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Thomas Dipolito upon the occasion of his
designation by the Freeport Chamber of Commerce as the recipient of its
2013 Business Person of the Year Award

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend the leaders of commerce and industry whose accomplishments
contribute to the economic health and prosperity of the communities of
the State of New York, and whose purposeful endeavors as involved
members of the community serve to enhance the quality of life therein;
and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and fully in accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Thomas Dipolito, proprietor of Trius Electric, upon the occasion of his
designation by the Freeport Chamber of Commerce as the recipient of its
2013 Business Person of the Year Award; and
WHEREAS, Thomas Dipolito will be honored at the Freeport Chamber of
Commerce Annual Installation Dinner Dance to be held at the Chateau
Briand in Carle Place on Friday, April 5, 2013; and
WHEREAS, The Freeport Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to the cooper-
ative efforts of the business and residential community in preserving
the quality, character, and vitality of business in the Village of Free-
port and, each year, proudly honors those in the community, such as
Thomas Dipolito, who helps to further these goals; and
WHEREAS, The Freeport Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Thomas
Dipolito for his contributions to the local economy, to the goals of the
Chamber, and to the quality of life in Freeport; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our attention it
is appropriate to publicly proclaim and commend them for the edification
and emulation of others; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Thomas Dipolito upon the occasion of his designation by the Free-
port Chamber of Commerce as the recipient of its 2013 Business Person of
the Year Award; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Thomas Dipolito.
