LEGISLATIVE  RESOLUTION  congratulating Casilio Companies upon the occa-
sion of its designation as recipient of the 2012 Business  of  the  Year
Award by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS,  It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New  York  State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those organiza-
tions  and individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare of the
community and its citizenry; and
  WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to congratulate Casilio
Companies upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the  2012
Business  of  the  Year Award by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce, to be
celebrated on Thursday, February 16, 2012; and
  WHEREAS, Founded by the late Pat and Rosemary Casilio in  1965,  their
efforts  were  the  beginning  of what is now known today as the Casilio
Companies; today, the Casilio Companies is  owned  and  managed  by  Pat
Casilio  Jr., Phil Casilio, Mary Casilio Powell, Peter Casilio, and Paul
Casilio, Esq operates as a full service  organization  for  Construction
Management,  General  Construction,  Real  Estate Brokerage, Real Estate
Development, Property Management and Trucking; and
  WHEREAS, Since its founding, the Casilio Companies have developed over
40 million square feet of space; construction and real  estate  projects
run  the  gamut from a large computer center, to medical surgical units,
schools and institutional  buildings,  manufacturing  plants  and  ware-
houses,  corporate  offices,  banks,  restaurants,  retail  outlets, and
multiple residential complexes; and
  WHEREAS, Construction and Real Estate Development  projects  take  all
shapes  and  forms;  in  demonstrating  the  ability  to  manage complex
projects, the Casilio Companies have been doing it locally and  through-
out the East Coast successfully for 47 years; and
  WHEREAS,  The mission of the Casilio Companies is to offer its clients
the most comprehensive professional  skills  in  construction  and  real
estate  so  that  each  of its clients may meet their budgeted goals and
time constraints to successfully complete  their  building  project  and
expand their company; and
  WHEREAS,  Whether  the  Casilio  team  is  working  for  a  successful
completion of new construction, or renovation to a fully  turn-key  real
estate  development project, the philosophy and ultimately the Casilios'
efforts are always directed towards strengthening a common goal; and
  WHEREAS, The Casilios collectively are proud  to  have  supported  and
represented  more  than 50 not-for-profits and for profit boards and are
recognized for their philanthropy throughout Western New York; and
  WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when  organiza-
tions  of  such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all  the  citizens  of
this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
  RESOLVED,  That  this  Legislative  Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Casilio Companies upon the occasion of its  designation  as
recipient of the 2012 Business of the Year Award; and be it further
  RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the Casilio Family.
