JUSTIFICATION: The "Niagara Wine Trail" has been extremely successful in helping Niagara County wineries attract customers since its inception. This new reconfiguration and extension eastward will draw new attention to the trail and will serve to attract additional visitors to it. In addition, since the creation of the Niagara Wine Trail, several wineries have already opened or are in the development stages along the route. This new extension eastward will attract additional wineries to open installations along the trail. PRIOR LEGISLATIVE HISTORY: S7159/A10207 of 2011-12; Referred to Transportation FISCAL IMPLICATION: None to the State. EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately.
