TITLE OF BILL : An act to amend the executive law, in relation to designating the Little River in the Adirondack park as an inland waterway
PURPOSE : To include the Little River in the Adirondack park as an inland waterway.
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS : Section one amends subdivision 4 of section 911 of the executive law designating the Little River in the Adirondack park as an inland waterway.
Section two provides for an immediate effective date.
JUSTIFICATION : By adding the Little River in the Adirondack park as an inland waterway, it could then be included in Local Waterfront Revitalization Program activities. This designation would greatly assist waterfront revitalization efforts in the communities surrounding these Waterways.
