BILL NUMBER:S3481 TITLE OF BILL: An act to require real property in the county of Richmond purchased by the governor's office of storm recovery, pursuant to the NY rising recovery program, to be placed in the custody and control of the office of parks, recreation and historic preservation PURPOSE: This bill all property purchased by the state under the NY rising recovery program to be transferred to the office of parks, recreation, and historic preservation for it's use. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section 1 of the bill states that all property purchased by the state or Governor's office of storm recovery, pursuant to the NY rising recovery program, whether such purchase was made prior to or after the effective date of this act, shall be transferred to the custody and control of the office of parks, recreation, and historic preservation. LANZA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Cultural Affairs, Tourism, Parks and Recreation AN ACT to require real property in the county of Richmond purchased by the governor's office of storm recovery, pursuant to the NY rising recovery program, to be placed in the custody and control of the office of parks, recreation and historic preservation THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. All real property in the county of Richmond purchased by the state or the governor's office of storm recovery, pursuant to the NY rising recovery program, whether such purchase was prior to or after the effective date of this act, shall be transferred to the custody and control of the office of parks, recreation and historic preservation for use pursuant to the parks, recreation and historic preservation law. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section 1 of the bill specifically establishes guidelines for all real property in the county of Richmond purchased by the state or the Governor's Office of Storm Recovery, pursuant to the NY rising buyout program, whether such purchase was prior to or after the effective date of this act, and is currently or formerly in the custody and control of the housing trust fund corporation.
