PURPOSE GENERAL IDEA OF BILL: Exempts a certain parcel of land from stated restrictions of use so that the Town of Islip may transfer a 2 acre portion of the land to the Central Islip Fire Department for the creation of a substation.
SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS:

Further, it adds section 7-a which establishes a parcel of land to be exempt from restrictions set forth in section 7.
Section 2 sets an immediate effective date.
JUSTIFICATION: The law, as it currently stands, restricts the use of this land and improvements thereon to purposes relating to education and associated complements and to municipal corporations.
