AN ACT to repeal paragraph d of subdivision 2  of  section  2-d  of  the
  education  law,  relating  to certain provisions relating to the chief
  privacy officer

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Paragraph d of subdivision 2 of section 2-d of the educa-
tion law is REPEALED.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
  REPEAL NOTE. - Paragraph d of subdivision 2  of  section  2-d  of  the
education law reflects that the chief privacy officer may hold by legis-
lative mandate multiple positions within the department of education.
