BILL NUMBER:S4047 TITLE OF BILL: An act to repeal section 680-f of the general municipal law relating to the village of Westbury Community Development Agency PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL: To dissolve Westbury Community Agency, which is no longer needed as the Nassau County Urban Consortium has undertaken the agency's responsibilities. SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS: Section 1. Repeals section 680-f of the general municipal law. Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately. JUSTIFICATION: The Westbury Community Development Agency has been inactive ever since the Village of Westbury has participated in the Nassau County Community Development Block Grant Program under the Nassau County Urban Consortium. The Agency is no longer necessary due to the shift in responsibilities to the Nassau County Urban Consortium. PRIOR LEGISLATIVE HISTORY: New Bill. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: None. EFFECTIVE ATE: This act shall take effect immediately.

AN ACT to repeal section 680-f of the general municipal law relating to the village of Westbury Community Development Agency
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
Section 680-f of the general municipal law is REPEALED.
S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD10038-01-1
