AN ACT to amend the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and  breeding  law,  in
  relation  to  requiring  any  entity  licensed  to conduct pari-mutuel
  racing and wagering in the state  of  New  York  to  locate  any  call
  centers within the state of New York

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 1012 of the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breed-
ing law is amended by adding a new subdivision 4-b to read as follows:
  4-B.  EVERY RACING ASSOCIATION, OFF-TRACK BETTING  CORPORATION,  FRAN-
CHISED  CORPORATION, HARNESS, THOROUGHBRED, QUARTER HORSE RACING ASSOCI-
ATION OR CORPORATION OR OTHER ENTITY LICENSED IN THIS STATE  TO  CONDUCT
PARI-MUTUEL  RACING  AND WAGERING, OR AUTHORIZED TO CONDUCT RACES WITHIN
THE STATE, WHICH OPERATES AN ACCOUNT WAGERING PLATFORM FOR  THE  ACCEPT-
ANCE  OF  WAGERS,  SHALL  LOCATE  THE  CALL CENTER WHERE SUCH WAGERS ARE
RECEIVED WITHIN THE STATE OF NEW YORK.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately; provided that the  amend-
ments  to  section 1012 of the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breeding
law made by section one of this act shall expire on  the  same  date  as
such section expires.
