AN ACT authorizing the village of Mamaroneck  to  participate  in  small
  claims  assessment  reviews and tax certiorari proceedings in the town
  of Mamaroneck and in the town of Rye

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Notwithstanding  any  law to the contrary, the village of
Mamaroneck within the county of Westchester may participate in  judicial
review  pursuant  to article 78 of the civil practice law and rules of a
small claims assessment review decision made pursuant to  title  1-a  of
article  7 of the real property tax law in the town of Mamaroneck and in
the town of Rye.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and  shall  apply  to  the
small  claims  assessment review decisions filed on and after January 1,
2015.

  reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee

AN ACT authorizing the village of Mamaroneck  to  participate  in  small
  claims  assessment  reviews and tax certiorari proceedings in the town
  of Mamaroneck and in the town of Rye
