TITLE OF BILL:
An act
to authorize the issuance of honorary retirement identification cards to
certain retired park police officers

PURPOSE:
To recognize the combined sixty-five years of service of three retired
state park police officers by issuing them each an honorary
retirement identification card.

SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Section one authorizes the state of New York to issue an honorary
retirement identification card to James Condino, Richard Condino and
Richard Degnan in recognition and appreciation of their years of
service to the state with the state park police.

Section two provides the effective date.

JUSTIFICATION:
James Condino, Richard Condino and Richard Degnan retired with a
combined sixty-five years of service with the State of New York Park
Police. Their service is recognized and appreciated by the state of
New York. This bill would give these men an honorary retirement
identification card as a token symbolizing the state's recognition of
their service.

AN ACT to authorize the issuance of honorary  retirement  identification
 cards to certain retired park police officers
 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

Section 1. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, in  recogni
 tion and appreciation of the many years of service rendered to the state
 park police by retired officers James Condino, Richard Condino and Rich
 ard  Degnan, the state of New York shall issue to each of them an honor
 ary retirement identification card.
 

S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
