BILL NUMBER:S5537 TITLE OF BILL: An act making an appropriation to pay Helen Morahan, widow of the late Thomas P. Morahan, member of the Senate from the 38th senatorial district, the balance due of his unpaid annual compensation for a portion of the year 2010 PURPOSE: To authorize the payment of unpaid annual compensation to Helen Morahan, widow of Senator Thomas P. Morahan. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section 1. The sum of thirty-seven thousand four hundred sixty-three dollars and one cent ($37,463.01) is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the general fund of the state treasury to the credit of the state purposes account not otherwise appropriated, for payment to Helen Morahan, the widow of the late Thomas P. Morahan, member of the senate from the 38th senatorial district, who died on the twelfth day of July, 2010, for the balance due of the unpaid annual compensation which would have been earned by him had he continued to live and serve as such member until the 31st day of December, 2010. The amount hereby appropriated shall be payable to Helen Morahan on the audit and warrant of the comptroller on a voucher certified or approved in the manner prescribed by law.

Morahan, member of the Senate from the 38th senatorial district, the balance due of his unpaid annual compensation for a portion of the year 2010 THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The sum of thirty-seven thousand four hundred sixty-three dollars and one cent ($37,463.01) is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the general fund of the state treasury to the credit of the state purposes account not otherwise appropriated, for payment to Helen Morahan, the widow of the late Thomas P.
