AN ACT to amend the long term care integration and finance act of  1997,
  in  relation  to  extending the expiration of operating demonstrations
  operating a managed long term care plan

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 88 of chapter 659 of the laws of 1997, constituting
the  long  term  care integration and finance act of 1997, as amended by
section 58 of part B of chapter 58 of the laws of 2009,  is  amended  to
read as follows:
  S  88. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, all oper-
ating demonstrations, as such term is defined in paragraph (c) of subdi-
vision 1 of section 4403-f of the public health law as added by  section
eighty-two  of this act, due to expire prior to January 1, 2001 shall be
deemed to expire on December 31, [2011] 2013.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
