Authorizes campgrounds with fifteen or fewer campsites which do not have dumping stations to provide a list of at least three dumping stations which are public or which have agreed to permit use of such station and which are located within a thirty mile radius of the campground.

  and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Health

AN ACT to amend the  public  health  law,  in  relation  to  authorizing
  certain campgrounds to provide a list of dumping stations

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 225 of the public health law is amended by adding a
new subdivision 5-d to read as follows:
  5-D. THE SANITARY CODE SHALL AUTHORIZE A CAMPGROUND  WITH  FIFTEEN  OR
FEWER CAMPSITES WHICH DOES NOT HAVE A DUMPING STATION TO PROVIDE A WRIT-
TEN  LIST  OF  AT LEAST THREE DUMPING STATIONS WHICH ARE PUBLIC OR WHICH
HAVE AGREED TO PERMIT USE OF SUCH DUMPING STATION BY  OCCUPANTS  OF  THE
CAMPGROUND  PROVIDING  SUCH  LIST  AND WHICH ARE LOCATED WITHIN A THIRTY
MILE RADIUS OF THE CAMPGROUND. EACH SUCH CAMPGROUND WHICH DOES NOT  HAVE
A  DUMPING STATION SHALL INSPECT EACH CAMPSITE UPON THE ARRIVAL AND EXIT
OF ANY OCCUPANT, AND AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK WHILE THE  CAMPSITE  IS  OCCU-
PIED.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
