AN  ACT  authorizing  the  county  of  Saratoga to effectuate a lot line
  adjustment involving a portion of reforested  lands  in  the  town  of
  Moreau

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Notwithstanding section  219  of  the  county  law  to  the
contrary,  the  county  of Saratoga, is hereby authorized, acting by and
through its county board of supervisors and upon such terms  and  condi-
tions as determined by such board of supervisors, to discontinue the use
of  the lands described in section two of this act acquired for refores-
tation purposes. The authorization contained in this act shall be effec-
tive only upon acquisition by the county of Saratoga of  the  parcel  as
described  in section three of this act, which is currently vacant prop-
erty not used by the public for recreational or reforestation  purposes,
for reforestation purposes.
  S  2.  The  real  property  authorized to be conveyed by the county of
Saratoga pursuant to section one of this act shall extend  the  westerly
boundary  of  Tax  Parcel  #62.-1-12.2,  owned  by Saratoga County Water
Authority, by 180 ft. in width and 1234.62  ft.  in  length  to  include
approximately  5  acres of reforested land currently owned by the county
and being a portion of Tax Parcel #62.-1-12.1.
  S 3. The authorization provided in section one of this  act  shall  be
effective  only  upon the condition that on or before the alienation and
conveyance of lands described in section two of this act, the county  of
Saratoga  shall  acquire  and  dedicate  real property for reforestation
purposes, of equal acreage to the lands being alienated.  The additional
real property to be acquired and dedicated  for  reforestation  purposes
shorten the southerly boundary of Tax Parcel #62.1-12.2 owned by Sarato-
ga  County Water Authority, by 370 ft. in length and 600 ft. in width to

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Notwithstanding section  219  of  the  county  law  to  the

  S  2.  The  real  property  authorized to be conveyed by the county of
Saratoga pursuant to section one of this act is described as follows:
  All that parcel of land located in the county of Saratoga and state of
New York bounded and described as follows:
  Commencing at a point at the intersection of the southeasterly bounda-
ry of Butler Road with the division line between the lands of The  Sara-
toga County Water Authority (Instrument No. 2008010290) on the south and
the  lands  of  Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation (Liber 333 Page 306) on
the north, said point being marked by a  capped  iron  rod  labeled  "CT
Male";  thence  running generally in a southwesterly direction along the
southerly bounds of Butler Road S56°-51'-55W (455.07) feet to the  POINT
OF BEGINNING; thence from said POINT OF BEGINNING running generally in a
southeasterly  direction  along  the  division line between The Saratoga

receive  state  legislative  authorization  to  alienate  certain  lands
acquired  for  reforestation  purposes  as described in section three of
this act prior to the use of such lands by  the  Saratoga  County  Water
Authority,  such alienation is hereby validated, legalized, ratified and
confirmed.
  S 3. The real property authorized to be  conveyed  by  the  county  of
Saratoga pursuant to section one of this act is described as follows:
  All that parcel of land located in the county of Saratoga and state of
New York bounded and described as follows:
  Commencing at a point at the intersection of the southeasterly bounda-
ry  of Butler Road with the division line between the lands of The Sara-
