AN ACT to amend the town law, in relation to  diminishing  the  Kiamesha
  Lake sewer district

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 202-c of the town law is amended by  adding  a  new
subdivision 11 to read as follows:
  11.  (A)  NOTWITHSTANDING  ANY  OTHER PROVISION OF GENERAL, SPECIAL OR
LOCAL LAW, RULE, OR REGULATION TO THE CONTRARY, WHENEVER THE TOWN  BOARD
OF THE TOWN OF THOMPSON, SULLIVAN COUNTY SHALL DETERMINE IT TO BE IN THE
PUBLIC  INTEREST, SAID TOWN BOARD MAY, UPON ITS OWN MOTION AND WITHOUT A
PETITION, BUT AFTER A PUBLIC HEARING HELD IN THE  MANNER  AND  UPON  THE
NOTICE SPECIFIED IN SUBDIVISION ONE OF THIS SECTION, DIMINISH THE KIAME-
SHA  LAKE  SEWER  DISTRICT  BY  DELETING THEREFROM THE PARCELS LISTED IN
PARAGRAPH (B) OF THIS SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN THE TOWN  OF  THOMPSON  AND
PRESENTLY  INCLUDED  IN SAID DISTRICT. IN ADDITION, ANY ORDER ADOPTED BY
THE TOWN BOARD PURSUANT TO  THIS  SUBDIVISION  SHALL  BE  SUBJECT  TO  A
PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM PURSUANT TO ARTICLE SEVEN OF THIS CHAPTER.
  (B)  THE  TAX LOT NUMBERS OF THE PARCELS AUTHORIZED TO BE DELETED FROM
THE KIAMESHA LAKE SEWER DISTRICT ARE LISTED AS FOLLOWS:

23-1-11.3;  23-1-53.4; 23-1-52.4; 23-1-54.8; 23-1-54.5; 23-1-54.4; 23-1-

AN ACT permitting the town of Thompson to  diminish  the  Kiamesha  Lake
  sewer district

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. If the town board of the town of Thompson, Sullivan  county
shall  determine  it  to be in the public interest, said town board may,
upon petition, and after a public hearing held in the  manner  and  upon
the  notice  specified  in  section  202-c of the town law, diminish the
Kiamesha Lake sewer district by deleting therefrom the parcels listed in
section two of this act located in the town of  Thompson  and  presently
included  in  said  district;  provided that a new district encompassing
such parcels is established that will assume any indebtedness  attribut-
able  to  parcels  located  within the district incurred by the Kiamesha
Lake sewer district prior to its creation.
  S 2. The tax lot numbers of the parcels authorized to be deleted  from
the Kiamesha Lake sewer district are listed as follows:
  9-1-18.1; 9-1-35; 13-3-45; 23-1-53.2; 23-1-54.3; 23-1-54.2; 23-1-54.1;
23-1-53.1;  23-1-52.1;  23-1-48.1;  23-  1-11.3;  23-1-53.4;  23-1-52.4;
23-1-54.8; 23-1-54.5; 23-1-54.4; 23-1-53.3; 23-1-52.3; 23-1-52.2;  23-1-
