TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend chapter 672 of the laws of 1993, amending the public authorities law relating to the construction and financing of facilities for certain public libraries, in relation to including the Mamakating library district within the provisions of such chapter
PURPOSE: This legislation allows the Mamakating Library District in Wurtsboro, New York to be eligible for financing through the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York.
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section 1. Amends section 5 of chapter 672 of the laws of 1993 to include the Mamakating Library District among the libraries that are eligible for financing through the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York.
Section 2. Effective Date.
JUSTIFICATION: This legislation is introduced at the request of the Board of Trustees of the Mamakating Library District.

AN ACT to amend chapter 672 of the laws of 1993, amending the public
authorities law relating to the construction and financing of facili-
ties for certain public libraries, in relation to including the Mama-
kating library district within the provisions of such chapter
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 5 of chapter 672 of the laws of 1993, amending the
public authorities law relating to the construction and financing of
facilities for certain public libraries is amended by adding a new
subdivision 45 to read as follows:
45. MAMAKATING LIBRARY DISTRICT.
S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
