TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the state finance law, in relation to certain municipalities receiving state aid
PURPOSE: To amend the state finance law, in relation to certain municipalities receiving state aid.
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Allows newly incorporated village, towns, or cities post 2005 to permanently receive AIM funding according to State Finance Law.
JUSTIFICATION: These newly incorporated village, towns, or cities are excluded from AIM funding solely on the basis of being incorporated post 2005 according to State Finance Law Section 54.
LEGISLATIVE HISTORY: New Bill.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: Permanently allocated AIM funds to newly incorporated village, towns, or cities.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This act shall take effect immediately.
